How Google Ruined Preludetotheendoftheworld.com

First things first, fuck Google.

The amount of time I spent trying to retain the domain www.preludetotheendoftheworld.com is almost embarrassing. I was on the phone with "representatives" of Google for almost four hours in total. I pleaded with them that I just wanted to pay the ten dollar renewal fee but kept being transferred to other departments. It was completely insane. How hard is it to give your money to a corporation?

And therein lies the problem with Google. Their tech support/customer service is a fucking joke. In a sane world this should bury them, but let's be honest; we do not live in a sane world.  

Google has let me down. But prelude shall continue in some form or another. Hold your head up high.

"We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive!"

This is the prelude to the end of the world.
