You Have to Pay for Your Education, Sir...

by Jeff Warzecha

Remember back in college (for some of you much longer than others, I'm sure) you found that ubiquitous quote apparently credited to Tom Petty "spend money you don't have, go out drinking when you have a paper due, spend time with friends because work never ends, but college does"? Well, it was a load of crap.

The Taxman Alway Rings Twice: How CT is Fucking You at the Drive Thru

by Jim Kopetz

Connecticut, among few other states, has made the decision to issue tax refunds in the form of a debit card instead of the traditional check. Behind that decision lies deception, an attempt at fleecing it's own denizens. And to do so in such a blatant manner is profoundly disheartening.

"Hell House" and the Infinite Power of Idiocy

by Harrison Mulligan

Hell hath no fury like the imagination of nut jobs.

Everything is bigger in Texas. Including the amount of grossly misguided and uneducated people.

Since the dawn of mankind, few questions have been raised as much as the one concerning our very existence. Why are we here, and who or what put us here?

Where One Country Fails, Another Succeeds: India, North Korea, and the Secret to an Effective Missle Launch

by Jim Kopetz

I'm sure you are well-informed on the recent failure of the North Korean Missile Launch, as seen here. But for some reason India's triumph in the same arena has seen little airtime. Could China's emergence as the world's second power have some sway?

Pierre, le trou du cul.

by Jim Kopetz

    "O cerveaux enfantins!
Pour ne pas oublier la chose capitale,
Nous avons vu partout, et sans l'avoir cherche,
Du haut jusques en bas de l'echelle fatale,
Le spectacle ennuyeux de l'immortel peche:"

Rest in Irrelevance: Keith Olbermann

by Jim Kopetz

To Keith Olbermann, the liberal version of Glenn Beck, and his decline into irrelevancy. The only query one can have left is how many jobs can one man lose?

Where Do Jobs Go When They Die?

by Jeff Warzecha

The Great Recession continues to eradicate jobs long after the "technical figures" express that it has ended and we're in a recovery. So, really, what is a recovery and is this what a recovery looks like? But more importantly, what happens to a job after it dies?

No Suprise Here: Tucker Max is a Disgusting Pig

By Courtney M.

A few weeks ago, Texas Governor Rick Perry continued his endless Conservative crusade against women by making the legislative decision to cut federal funding to the Medicaid Women's Health Program that directly contributes to Planned Parenthood clinics across the state. Because both local and federal funding are major contributions to the livelihood of these medical facilities, Planned Parenthood has since sought after alternative funding to make up for the deep deficit.

Meanwhile, in Transparent Publicity Stunts 101, “advisor and strategist for big authors and big brands” Ryan Holiday writes a piece on Forbes.com asking why Planned Parenthood decided not to accept a supposed gift of $500,000 from his client, Tucker Max. Tucker Max, a known and vocal misogynist pig who has made a small fortune off of the degradation and humiliation of women, apparently approached Holiday and asked him how he could “alleviate his tax burden” and “promote his new book at the same time.”
