The Death of Roger Ebert

by Jim Kopetz

I remember it well. We'd wake up early on Saturday morning and watch various cartoons, whether it be T.M.N.T or Looney Toons or Tom and fucking Jerry, but when 11:30am rolled around, it was time for Siskel and Ebert at the Movies. It was Roger Ebert who put me on a quest to see Pulp Fiction. To see Jurassic Park. Etc, Etc, Etc...

If one can say anything about Roger Ebert, it's that he loved movies. He loved them so much, he dedicated his life to them. May his reviews live on forever. I shall miss you, dear friend.
