Sean Penn teamed up with Kid Rock to seemingly explain that although we may have major differences of opinion, we should all just "get along". We are Americans after all. The jingoism present is so over the top that it seems like a parody of the political culture we are embedded in. Whether intentional or not it is just plain strange.
